Building Events That Matter
Pelamontillado started in 2020 with one clear purpose: to make event planning accessible to everyone who needs it. We teach the practical side of organizing gatherings, from small meetings to large conferences, without the fluff.
Where We Started
Four instructors with event backgrounds noticed a gap. Most courses either oversimplified or overcomplicated the process.
We built something in between.
What Changed
Initially we focused only on corporate events. Students kept asking about weddings, community gatherings, fundraisers.
So we expanded the curriculum to cover different event types while keeping the core principles the same.
How We Teach Now
Start with a real event scenario that students can relate to immediately
Break down each phase of planning into manageable steps with clear outcomes
Show common mistakes and how to avoid them before they become problems
Every lecture includes worksheets, checklists, and templates you can use right away. No theory without application.

What Guides Our Work
Clarity Over Complexity
Event planning has enough moving parts without adding unnecessary jargon. We explain concepts in plain language and show you exactly what to do next.
Real Scenarios Only
Every example comes from actual events we've organized or consulted on. You learn from situations that happened, not hypothetical cases.
Flexibility in Application
The same framework works for a 20-person workshop or a 200-person conference. We teach principles that scale to your specific needs.

Where Our Students Come From
Our courses attract people from different professional backgrounds. Each brings their own perspective to event planning.
Corporate coordinators need structure and efficiency. Nonprofit organizers focus on community engagement. Freelancers want versatile skills they can apply across clients.
The curriculum works for all of them because it focuses on fundamental principles rather than industry-specific tactics.
